Mandate of the ICC
The primary responsibilities of the ICC include:
Preventing acts of sexual harassment through awareness, sensitisation, and mandatory training programmes.
Prohibiting any form of gender-based misconduct on campus.
Redressing complaints of sexual harassment promptly, fairly, and confidentially as per statutory guidelines.
Ensuring that complainants and witnesses are protected from retaliation throughout the process.
Recommending institutional measures to strengthen safety and gender sensitivity.
Who Can Approach the ICC?
Any student, faculty member, staff member, research scholar, project employee, contractual worker, or visitor who experiences conduct that may amount to sexual harassment within the campus or during any institute-related activities/events may approach the ICC.
