The Internal Complaints Committee (ICC), also k/a Internal Committee, of IIT Hyderabad is constituted under the provisions of the Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013 (PoSH Act). The Committee is responsible for ensuring a safe, secure, and respectful environment for all members of the Institute community, including students, faculty, staff, research scholars, project employees, and visitors.
IIT Hyderabad is committed to fostering a campus culture where dignity, equality, and mutual respect are upheld at all times. The ICC functions as an impartial and confidential redressal body to address complaints of sexual harassment, provide support to complainants, and make recommendations for corrective action in accordance with the law.
